A Message From Marshell

On November 6, 2018, the voters of Jefferson County elected me as Circuit Court Judge – Civil Division, Place 8.  I won by a vote of 56% over my opponent.  I believe that improving the quality of justice is critical to the community.  I have:

  • Experience of the law and courtroom procedures

  • The temperament to hear and consider the legal issues with neutrality and decisiveness

  • The courage to do what the law requires.

I have handled hundreds of cases in Jefferson County District and Circuit Courts, including serving as lead counsel on bench trials and jury trials.  The experience I have gained, the compassion I have for fairness and respect and my commitment to be of service to the community proved that I was the best candidate for this honorable position.

On November 6, 2018, a vote for Hatcher was a vote for Experience, Fairness and Respect.

Thank you to everyone for the support during the campaign. Thank you Jefferson County for giving me the opportunity to serve you as Circuit Court Judge.
